The Black Whale

The Black Whale is a restaurant right in New Bedford Harbor. The menu is a great mix of sushi, seafood, and classic American. It has a big tented outdoor patio right in the harbor. This is a good option if you're looking for somewhere to go before Friday's welcome dinner (a 15 minute walk or short drive). It also easily accommodates large groups, but we recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Cisco Brewery is a waterfront beer garden & restaurant in New Bedford harbor. It's one of our favorite spots for sunset dinner & drinks. This is a great place to get dinner before Friday's Post-Toast party. If you want a sit down dinner, we recommend making a reservation in advance. If you want drinks and casual bites, you can walk right in.

Turks is the ultimate casual seafood spot. This one is walk-in only and the wait can be up to about an hour, so it's best to go on the early side or plan ahead for the wait. It has a very extensive sushi and seafood menu and everything is amazing. It has both indoor & outdoor seating!
